A CAR was driven into a ditch following a three car collision in Verwood.

The crash took place outside Ashley Lodge on the B3081 at around 2.40pm.

Police and ambulance attended the scene but there were no serious injuries.

A silver Renault Clio registered to a man from Bournemouth was driven into a ditch.

The other cars involved were a blue Ford KA and a Skoda Octavia.

Perhaps I am being picky but what a strange way to word the headline "Car driven into a ditch following collision" because I am sure it was not.

To have driven a vehicle anywhere is by implication a deliberate action, this car went into a ditch when out of the control of it's driver so it was not driven there.
