Jeez...is your New Year resolution to have a pop at the public sector every single flipping opportunity?

They were armed bank robbers, one assumes they have given some thought to their getaway therefore the actual chances of arresting them at the time were slim to start with. Maybe not as slim as your grasp on reality but though...

Andrew Walton, who works at Immortal Tattoo nearby, said he wasn't aware of the robbery until he saw blue flashing lights.

"I hadn't seen or heard anything about it until I saw the police," he said.

"The Post Office is still cordoned off, and there are two police cars there at the moment....
So will someone please tell me how this snippet has found its way onto this website......I have read it 3 times before making my point.......My point being that he saw NOTHING !!
I too actually saw nothing and i am quite prepared to have the local community officer come round and take a statement from me to help matters along !!....Thankyou Echo, thankyou very much !!

Desperate times. I thought that sort of robbery went out of fashion in the 60's - 70's, now that we are in the digital age and electronic fraud is much easier and doesn't carry an automatic 7 year sentence...

So you are happy to pay 2 grand per hour for a helicopter and God knows how much for man hours to get the same results (zero) over and over again when these incidents happen and for all the taxpayers money severely depleted when we don't have it?
I certainly ain't.
Always too slow on response especially from the helicopter.
They always run round in circles. Keystone comes to mind.

I'm afraid it's your grasp on reality that is as far away as the new wind farm going up.
I don't do resolutions. They are for the unhappy lot.

Let's hope this gets sorted fast.

Here is a suggestion: those who commit a crime with a weapon receive 25 years before parole can be considered.

Any problem with that?

Hambledon Rd PO says...

Thanks to everyone who concerned about this case, we are alright no one was hurt just lost some money, there were two young men around age 20, one black (shorter) and one white (taller) came into the post office at 2:35pm Friday 10-Jan -2014 , both were face covered after they were in and armed, just myself at the time, I am not afraid of them so the confrontation occurs for couple of minutes until a lady customer came to the door she saw that and they saw her as well so I think that it is the time to release some cash let them go and then they just grab the cash run off, the direction they run just pass the Halford Auto centre in Hambledon Road. So if anybody know anything just contact Dorset police directly, thanks again for supporting us and your local post office.
