RESIDENTS came home after Christmas Day to find burglars had forced their way in to steal jewellery and electronic items.

A Dorset Police spokesman said an intruder managed to open a front door “Yale type lock” in West Hill Road in Bournemouth between 10pm on Christmas Day and 4am on Boxing Day, stealing a Macbook Pro, an iPad, a Panasonic camera and an iPod.

And jewellery was taken from a property in Marlborough Road in Bournemouth between 6pm on Christmas Eve and 4.10pm on Friday, December 27 after entry was forced via a rear patio door.

Witnesses and anyone with information can call Dorset Police on 101.

Just a shame the police refuse to do anything to help! The iphone has been tracked down to an address in Cunningham Crescent, West Howe and the police have refused to act - useless bunch of individuals! Too busy doing the easy jobs to have to use a bit of proper detective work and catch the culprits!

Very frustrating that even when handed hard evidence the Police do nothing to solve the crime.
Cunningham Crescent - that's evidence enough for me.

The owner should just go there at 4am with enough mates tooled up and take it back plus a couple of fingers.

It has been pinpointed to Cunningham Crescent in West Howe and police have been given the numbers of houses that it could be in (it's a possibility of around 12 properties) they aren't interested. If it was my property I'd go round there and chop their hands off! You can bet the police would turn up then!
