Bournemouth Echo: Tea towel catches fire on hob Tea towel catches fire on hob

Firefighters were called to a block of flats at Wentworth Drive in Broadstone on Saturday night.

One crew from Poole was sent to the scene at around 6.22pm and on arrival found a small fire involving a tea towel left on the hob.

There was slight smoke damage to the kitchen and next-door room.

A lightbulb moment hit Echo towers a long time ago:

"Produce ridiculous stories, and they will come!"

If they get more visitors on their site through Facebook and Twitter sharing of hard-hitting stories like this, they can then start to charge more for their ad space.
