Man taken to hospital following collision near Sherborne
A MAN has been taken to hospital with injuries after a single vehicle collision this morning which saw his car go into a hedge near Sherborne.
Firefighters and police were called to the incident at 8.03am which happened near the Three Elms Inn Public House, North Wooton.
The A3030 was completely blocked both ways, but one lane has now been re-opened.
The driver was extracted from his car by firefighters and taken by ambulance to Yeovil Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
He was driving a blue Vauxhall and the local authority has been called to deal with oil spillage.
