A CLUB in Poole is looking for new members to come along at the start of the New Year in 2014.
The Poole New Orchard Salvation Army Club will recommence their meetings on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. People are invited to come along to 2 New Orchard, BH15 1LY, at 10am, when the group starts a new programme of events.
On Tuesday, the short mat bowls club will meet to resume play and then, on Wednesday January 8, people can enjoy coffee and a chat, a craft class costing £1.50 per person and lunch served at 12.15pm costing £2.50.
Elizabeth Dear from Poole New Orchard Salvation Army Club, said that the club is open to anyone who would like to attend.
She added: “I just feel that there are many people in Poole who are lonely and this is a good chance to make friends and enjoy other people's company”
