DOG lovers and their four-legged friends descended on an animal-friendly Bournemouth restaurant to meet the Poole author who penned heart-warming book, Time for Paws.
Author Zoe Wilson, right, made an impact at West Beach when she signed copies of the stunning book which has been described as a “gem of uniqueness” in the pet gift trade.
The entertaining paperback of short stories and poems were inspired by stunning photographs of dogs which were taken in Dorset.
Zoe said: “The book signings are the part I love the most.
“Meeting other dog lovers and watching the response to each of the stories.
“Some laugh, some cry at the introduction and everyone just loves it.
“The photographs are fabulous and each story is inspired by the accompanying picture.
“I work from home so I spend all my time with my two dogs, who feature in the book of course, but who unfortunately aren’t quite as sociable as Frankie my Lhasa companion on book signings.
“She loves the attention and even wore her Santa outfit at West Beach, everybody loved her.”
There are 20 moving and entertaining stories written in rhyme for each individual photograph, or series of photographs in the book, each story is unique.
The book retails at £8.49 is available from Amazon and the Time for Paws website time-for-paws.co.uk
