PANTO stars brought smiles as they brightened up the day of children at Dorset County Hospital.

The cast of Cinderella, which is currently showing at the Weymouth Pavilion, visited Kingfisher Ward at the Dorchester hospital to perform for children.

Play specialist Sally Burnham said the visit from Cinderella, Buttons and the Fairy Godmother had gone down very well.

She said: “They were fabulous.

“They came into the play room and sat down with the children and played and then they did a couple of songs from the show.

“They also went into the cubicles and said hello to the children that couldn’t come out so they got round everyone – they were brilliant.”
