You muppett! There would be cctv but its not guaranteed to see through a group of bodies. And as for security staff there is probably 5 of them to 400 plus people, they can't be everywhere and see everything. Especially if its one punch and the person leaves. Feel free to go spend the £400 plus that it costs to become a door supervisor and do a few nights on the door dealing with dickheads like yourself who know everything. Then you might have a better appreciation of what they do

Without wishing to rock the boat but possibly 2 sides to every story. Would not wish a broken jaw to anyone but there seems to be an assumption here that the person injured was an innocent victim. There is alway the possibility that he was being a pain and just got want was deserved. Have seen many people under the influence and being a complete pain in the Harris who you just wished someone would shut up

Just another perspective to consider.

Not sure how this is news??
.
I worked at the Cage while studying years ago and glassings were a nightly event plus 3 or 4 big brawls. That was one club and the only time the Echo reported there was when someone got shot.
.
What makes this spoilt plum so special Echo??

Try smiling and treating people like human beings instead of the 16yr old on steroids attitude.

Doorman are treated like dickheads because they treat CUSTOMERS with contempt before they even get to the door.

As is often the case the Echo prints half the story. If you don't know all the facts Echo why don't you just not print? The Echo seems more interested in adverts and pictures of children plus the occasional story that makes the town look good. This country is in really bad need of media and press that actually does their job. Our media seem more interested in pushing political agendas and adverts.............
