A FRESH new look has been unveiled at a Poole youth centre, thanks to a paint donation from the Dulux Let’s Colour Project.
The Bridge Youth Centre in King John Avenue is home to St Barnabas Church Youth Project and hosts a number of weekly groups, including youth clubs for five to 19 year-olds, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
A 15-strong team of volunteers from the different groups worked together to re-decorate the centre, much of which had been damaged by a leaking roof, and transform it into a lively and colourful community hub.
The paint was donated by Dulux Decorator Centres in Bournemouth after Lol Scott-Farnell, the St Barnabas Church youth project co-ordinator nominated the project online.
Peter O’Connor, store manager at the Charminster Road centre, said: “Helping such a great project to impact so many young lives in the local community was an absolute pleasure.”
