A PEDESTRIAN was rushed to hospital in an ambulance after a crash in Ameysford Road, Ferndown.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police has confirmed: “Ameysford Road was closed between Hilltop Road and Redwood Drive after a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

“The ambulance was called at 11.41am and they informed the police.

“The pedestrian was taken to hospital with suspected head injuries.”

The road was closed one way whilst police officers carried out an investigation but reopened at 2.05pm.
