IT will be ladies night at the BBC ballroom on Saturday night as the 2013 Strictly Come Dancing final sees Sophie Ellis Bextor, Abbey Clancy, Susanna Reid and Natalie Gumede battle it out for the glitterball trophy.

After a season dominated by two competitors – Natalie and Abbey – it’s interesting to see Susanna ahead as the bookies favourite to win the coveted prize.

Somewhat lacklustre in recent weeks, her performances will need that extra sprinkling of glitter to ensure she makes it to the final three in my opinion, but she obviously has won over the public, which is what counts when the votes are being tallied up.

My money is on Abbey, surprisingly, since I didn’t rate her at the start. In terms of best dancer though, Natalie has the edge, although for some reason I can’t warm to her and her shock appearance in the bottom two last week shows the public haven’t either.

Sophie, for me, is awkward to watch. I'm never convinced by her, although she is very graceful and swanlike. But there doesn't seem the will to dance anyone off the floor, unlike Natalie and Abbey.

The final of Strictly for me is always the least enjoyable show of the season. I don’t like the show dances as they never live up to the expectations set by the professionals, and the whole extravaganza just feels, well, rushed.

I like to savour the dances, learning to dance is something I always wanted to do, so I love to see others learning a skill and enjoying it so much.

And it’s nice to see familiar faces – from soaps, music stars and even newsreaders and models – in a different environment and out of their comfort zone – although sometimes it is cringeworthy – but that’s part of the fun.

My favourite dance each year is always the Argentine Tango. It’s so exotic and well-executed by all. I really want to see Abbey perform it this year- I think that will be a winner for her.

But who do you want to win? What's your favourite dance? And who is your all-time favourite champion?
