File picture: Fire crews tackle small blaze in Christchurch pub
TWO fire crews from Christchurch are dealing with a small blaze at a pub in Winkton this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the Lamb Inn in Burley Road at around 3pm today after a fire was spotted.
It started in the rear lounge of the building, and the walls of the room have been scorched by flames.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews have extinguished the fire behind the log burning stove using one hose reel jet and cutting away.
"They are remaining in attendance to fully dampen down the area."
