DRIVERS are facing queues around the County Gates roundabout following a crash at the start of the Wessex Way.

A Dorset Police spokesman said at least two cars are involved in the crash.

Nobody is believed to be injured but drivers are facing delays on Poole Road and on the Wessex Way as far as the Bournemouth West roundabout with road closures in place after the crash happened at 12.30pm.

A second crash on Poole Road, at the junction with Queens Road added to the delays.

The two-vehicle crash involving a blue Citroen Xsara and a red Nissan Primera, led to one 25-year-old woman being taken to Poole General Hospital.

She was complaining of back pain at the scene but was conscious and breathing, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said.
