Bournemouth Echo: Sixth person charged in Christmas drink-drive campaign Sixth person charged in Christmas drink-drive campaign

Another man has been charged with driving when over the legal alcohol limit in Dorset’s Police’s Christmas crackdown campaign.

Police officers have now charged six people in their campaign – which has increased traffic patrols, roadside checks and every driver involved in a collision will be breathalysed.

Drivers charged will appear at Bournemouth Magistrates this month and those convicted will be named in the Daily Echo.

Is the Echo to carry on a daily report of drivers being caught by this campaign? It is obvious that some drivers will be over the limit because if there were no chance of them being so then no campaign would be necessary.

Shame a drink driver in the press, find them hanged in the morning. Standard.
