MOTORISTS can expect delays on the A35 over the next three weeks with roadworks taking place between Bere Regis and Morden Park Corner.
The work will involve removing areas of the existing surface that are damaged and replacing them with a material that will increase the skid resistance and give a smoother driving experience.
Dorset County Council, who is carrying out the works, said they would be controlling traffic with stop and go boards to keep the delays for drivers to a minimum.
The repairs will be carried out during the daytime between 9am and 4pm with an advisory 30mph limit to protect the workforce carrying out the work.
Phil Abbley, the county council’s project engineer, said: “There are failed areas within this road that require localised reconstruction.”
