CRIME prevention street corner meetings will take place in Christchurch over the next few weeks.
Residents are invited to come along and speak to the police, council and Home Watch and get advice.
Meetings include one on Friday, December 6 from 10am-noon and 4pm-6pm at Wortley Road car park in Highcliffe.
If you can’t make those dates there is another taking place on Wednesday, December 11 from 10am to noon and 4pm to 6pm at Stewarts Garden Centre.
Inspector Lance Cliff from Christchurch Police said: “We are very lucky to live in a low crime area but, that said, we must not become complacent, as we do still have some crimes. “Residents need to make it as difficult as possible for thieves and ensure they take steps to secure their property.”
