Poole residents have say on shaping town’s future
3:00pm Friday 1st November 2013 in News
POOLE residents are being given the opportunity to comment on how they would like to be involved in future changes to the town.
Borough of Poole’s planning and regeneration services is making their Revised Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) available for public consultation.
This sets out how individuals, the community and other stakeholders can be involved in shaping places where they live.
Stephen Thorne, head of planning and regeneration, Borough of Poole, said: “This consultation provides an ideal opportunity for local people to tell us how they would like to be involved when future changes to Poole are being considered.” Consultation runs until December 6 and the document can be viewed at boroughof poole.com/StatementofCommunityInvolvement and paper copies are available at the Civic Centre.
