A COMPANY which fits wooden interiors to Sunseeker’s luxury yachts has received a reward for outstanding work.
Poole-based Kirolite won the award for its work on Sunseeker International’s top-of-the-range Sea Raider V.
The company, which specialises in hardwoods and laminating, provided furniture for the 40 metre yacht.
The joinery work ranged from a bar, television cabinets and air conditioning units to chests of drawers and bedside cupboards.
The timeframe from concept to fitting out was only 16 weeks, described by Sunseeker as an “outstanding performance in meeting our most demanding requirements.”
Kirolite’s Bonnie Randall said: “This award is a huge feather in our cap from one of the world’s most prestigious brands.”
Founded in 1942, Kirolite employs 26 staff and operates from the Holton Heath Trading Park.
