FIND the buried treasure and win big with the Daily Echo’s golden ticket promotion this week.
A different map will appear in the newspaper for the next three weeks, with the geography of Westbourne, Boscombe and Southbourne plotted in the pages.
All you have to do is think like a pirate and discover where the treasure is buried to win part of a £2,000 prize pot.
The initiative is just part of the Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) team’s plan to get people visiting the shopping districts in the area.
Anyone spending their money in a BID-registered shop until November 9 could win a golden ticket that spells a host of prizes, from a haircut to afternoon tea.
Suzanne Roycroft, who owns Elsie Harrhy Coffee House in Poole Road, Westbourne, said: “I’m a Coastal BID payer, and I thought that it was a great opportunity for me to get involved and put something back in to the community.
“Whoever wins our golden ticket will be treated to a lovely lunch.”
Suzanne also took part in the BID team’s Blooming Beautiful initiative earlier this summer, which was backed by the Daily Echo and Heart FM.
She said: “That was a great scheme, and I know this will be the same. It’s really great for us as businesses to attract more people into the area. Westbourne has so much to offer.”
To win with the Daily Echo, guess the correct road name and number of the map.
