Davina Ayrton in court accused of possessing more than 4,000 indecent images of children

A WOMAN appeared at court yesterday accused of possessing more than 4,000 indecent images of children.
Davina Ayrton, who was born David Ayrton, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court charged with seven counts of possessing indecent images, featuring children aged between three and 14 years old.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in Fordingbridge in March last year, and aside from one extreme image at level four, most are rated at level one – nude poses with no sexual activity.
The 32-year-old – formerly of Christine Miller Road, Salisbury, but currently living in a New Milton residential home – entered no plea to the charges and the case was adjourned pending production of a psychiatric report.
Ayrton was released on unconditional bail until the next hearing in Bournemouth on Monday, December 16.
