Annemarie Lithgow, parent governor and mum of Kai in year six and Jude in year five, said: “My children love the sense of community here.

“They love the projects and they come home really enthusiastic, looking things up on the internet.

“They really encourage and nurture an enthusiasm for learning and they have both made lots of progress.”

Jan Hunt, parent governor and mum of Ryan in year five, said: “My son has a minor learning difficulty and they really cater for him. In year four he came on in leaps and bounds.

“My daughter did really well here and was very happy. They’ve both really enjoyed coming to school every day. I love to support the school as much as I can because they’re supporting my children.”

Sandra Mackrow, parent governor and mum of Saul in year four, said: “I’ve had four children come through the school already and I’m very happy with the school. All children are different, they all have their own needs, and they cater for the children that have extra needs so well.

“The office staff are lovely. If you’ve got a problem you can’t deal with, they will sort it out.”

Year six pupil Louie Gardener, 10, who is captain of Lulworth house, said: “It’s good at Branksome Heath. The lessons are always interesting and you get good support. It’s also very good for sport. It’s a brilliant school. My teacher is Ms Locke. She’s amazing.”

Year six pupil Ayesha Begum, 10, captain of Kimmeridge house, said: “The learning they do is brilliant. It’s just amazing here. I’m learning a lot because my teacher Mrs Kent is a high level maths teacher. I would really recommend the school because it’s a very good environment to learn.”

Hannah Lewis, head of Year Three, said: “It’s a lovely place to be. The children are delightful – their behaviour and attitude. We’ve got lovely small classes in Year Three which enables us to give every child the attention and care they need to do as well as possible and to progress as well as they can.”
