A TV series that generated huge visitor interest in Poole and a holiday park which attracts 100,000 visitors a year are among winners of prestigious tourism awards.

Five category winners of the Sibbett Gregory Poole Tourism Awards and a sponsors special award were revealed at a ceremony held at the hytes suite, Harbour Heights Hotel.

Now in its 10th year, Poole's annual premier awards ceremony, sponsored by local commercial property agents, surveyors and town planners Sibbett Gregory, celebrates tourism businesses and the talented individuals behind them whose hard work and dedication attracts visitors to the town.

“All of this year's winners and nominees are exemplars in their fields and their contributions play a key role in creating Poole's unique reputation as a visitor destination,” said Jonathan Sibbett, director at Sibbett Gregory.

“We are exceptionally proud to sponsor this event and it is a fantastic way to recognise the enthusiasm and commitment of our tourism professionals who offer ever increasing levels of quality to our visitors.

“The winners should be justifiably proud of their achievements.”
