A MAN accused of the murder of Bournemouth man Rodger Tett appeared at crown court today.
Stephen Gibbs, 33, is charged with murdering the 42-year-old at an address in Luckham, Road, Charminster, on Saturday September 7.
Gibbs, of Maxwell Road, Winton, stood in the dock at Winchester Crown Court for a short preliminary hearing.
The court heard that Gibbs would next appear at the court on December 19 for a plea and case management hearing.
A trial date has been set for March 10 next year.
Gibbs was remanded in custody.
Police were called to the home of Mr Tett's fiancée Kim Trevillion in Luckham Road, off Charminster Road, at 6.15pm on Saturday September 7.
Mr Tett was treated at the scene for severe head injuries before being taken by air ambulance to the Neurology Unit at Southampton hospital.
He died on Monday evening.
