A POWER which affected 500 customers and traffic lights on Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth has been fixed, enginners have stated .
Scottish and Southern Energy said one of their underground cables was damaged at around 3pm and their engineers managed to restore power to all but 33 of the customers in the first instance.
The spokesman said power was restored to the remaining 33 customers by 4.55pm
She said: "We apologise to our customers.
"We are aware there has been a fault to one of our underground cables.
"It looks like something has damaged our cable.
"There were about 500 customers affected in that area until we were able to reboot the electricity and bring most back on.
"And all the power is now back on."
