Man found with serious head injuries in Poole alleyway wakes from coma
9:16am Friday 6th September 2013 in News
THE man discovered with serious head injuries in a Poole alleyway is now out of his coma, Dorset Police say.
Emergency doctors placed the 53-year-old, reportedly from the Alderney area, into a medically-induced coma shortly after he was found on August 26.
Police were called to the alleyway linking Belben Road to Bremble Close, Alderney, around 3.30pm that afternoon.
At that time it was unclear what had happened to the man.
Yesterday, a police spokesman said: “The injured man in the Belben Road incident is now conscious and recovering well.
“The investigation into how he came to receive these injures is currently ongoing and there are no further updates at this time.”
