The Vulcan will be the highlight of Sunday's display. We've had a chat with the man who's flying her, Bournemouth pilot Phill O'Dell.
The JP5 Jet Provost is going to be the first to take to the skies today.
She was built in the late 1960s and accepted by the RAF in September 1970 and used for pilot training and by the Flight Training School's aerobatic team.
She was retired to RAF Shawbury in 1993, but bought and restored the following year. Since then she's been a regular attendee at air shows across the country. She still wears the original RAF No 6 Flight Training School colour scheme and today's programme is promised to be "a high tempo full acrobatic display" with top speeds of 480mph.
You can see full details of the display programme here, if you're interested in that sort of thing, and here's what she looks like...

So about that cloud level. According to the aviation forecast for the airport, the cloud level will be at 4,000ft by this afternoon.
The Reds need the cloud to be at 4500ft to do their full display - anything between 4,500ft and 2,500ft usually means a looping display instead. (You can read more about that here.)
We'll let you know as soon as we have any info about which we're likely to see today.

Some more details on the crash on the A31 - one man has suffered a suspected broken neck. Full details here.
It has to be said it's a rather lovely day in Bournemouth today.
Our traffic feed is reporting an accident on the A31 at Wimborne Minster, which happened just before 9.45am.
The road is closed both ways due to an accident involving three cars and a van.
There's a local diversion in place for cars but the police suggest lorries divert at the Roundhouse Roundabout via the A350 and Poole.

So, anything you want to know about what's happening today?
Speaking of the Air Festival book, should you be in the market for one (and why wouldn't you be?) you can get one, plus the official Air Festival souvenir brochure, for just £20 if you buy it from the Daily Echo stand at Pier Aproach. I'm contractually obliged to tell you that, but it is a really good deal.
Echo Towers is also very excited that Jonathon Whaley, pilot of the awesome (and loud) Miss Demeanour Hunter Jet, will be signing copies of our Air Festival book at the Echo stand from noon - details here.
Good morning and welcome to our first live blog of the 2013 AirFestival. Today is the quietest day, flying wise, but that doesn't mean any less excitement.
The Jet Provost kicks things off at 1.30pm (more about her shortly) and the Red Arrows will be back over the seafront as a full nine at 4pm.
There are two appearances by the Spitfire. More details of what's on on our schedule page.
