- Hundreds of people took part in the first-ever Bournemouth Parkrun at Kings Park Athletics Centre on Saturday.
- The 14th annual duck race in aid of Wimborne in Bloom drew hundreds of spectators on Saturday.
- The fifth Purbeck Folk Festival takes place at Wilkswood Farm until Sunday. The line-up includes multi-BBC Radio 2 folk award winners Karine Polwart and Show of Hands.
- The fifth annual plane pull takes place at Bournemouth Airport on bank holiday Monday from 10am.
- Christchurch Lions Club will be holding their duck race this afternoon at the Millstream in Christchurch

The road near the Heavy Horse Centre in Verwood has re-opened now following a collision earlier.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution. No-one else was injured.

More travellers have moved onto Branksome Recreation Ground this lunchtime.
Police say around five more caravans have arrived at the site.
Residents in Tolpuddle are being advised to keep their doors and windows closed due to an asbestos risk from a barn fire.
Firefighters and police are on scene at Creech Holding to the south of the A35 with crews tackling the 'large' fire.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: "The barn is well alight and there may be a risk of asbestos.
"The prevailing wind is from the south and it is believed it will remain so.
"Residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed where possible and to avoid breathing in smoke."
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said four crews from Dorchester, Wareham and Bere Regis are on scene.

There has been a collision near Verwood outside the Heavy Horse Centre.
Police were called by ambulance about 12.24pm to Edmondsham Road to the incident.
One vehicle - a green Hyundai - has overturned.
Everyone managed to get out of the vehicles and the road is closed from outside the Heavy Horse Centre while emergency services are on the scene.

A group of travellers have moved onto Verwood Memorial Recreation Ground on Sunday night.
Police say there are 17 caravans at present.
The group are believed to have moved from a site near Morrisons.

A diver suffering from the bends was airlifted to Whitecliff on Sunday afternoon.
The 35-year-old man, who had been diving off Portland, was admitted to the recompression chamber in Poole on Sunday around 4.20pm.
It comes one week after the coastguard warned divers to be careful when surfacing after four were treated for the bends within minutes of each other.

Another vehicle appears to have collided with a telegraph pole on the A31 near Sturminster Marshall this afternoon.
The collision partially blocked the road following the collision with the vehicle, which ended up on top of a wall, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said.
The car is being recovered now, although there are delays on the A31.
A31 Westbound is partially blocked due to accident, one vehicle involved after A350 Poole Road, Roundhouse Roundabout.
Just after the roundabout, heading towards Bere Regis.
Here is some video of the bird rescue from earlier. We've established it is a goshawk and it is uninjured.

Police were called to Branksome recreation ground this morning after a woman walking there said one of the travellers dogs "lunged" at her.
Officers went to the scene, where a number of travellers moved onto the ground on Friday afternoon, to diffuse the situation, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said.

One woman was led to safety after a fire at her home in Tuckton last night.
The incident took place in Northey Road around 12.39am.
The fire was caused by unattended cooking.
Crews were called by a neighbour who heard fire alarms sounding.
The Red Cross emergency support vehicle was also called as were ambulance but no-one was injured.

We got to visit the Purbeck Folk Festival yesterday - no cider for us though. Here's some of the sights we saw. It is continuing throughout today as well.

She remains in Southampton General Hospital.
A Poole man, driving the vehicle was taken to Dorset County Hospital and an 11-year-old boy in the vehicle was uninjured.
At the moment, the A31 near Stag Gate is closed after a car hit a telegraph pole this morning.
There is a full story here but the road could be closed until nearly lunchtime as engineers are sought to replace the pole which snapped at the base from the impact.
The person driving the car is not believed to have sustained serious injuries.
