FORMER Exeter City striker Steve Flack has signed a non-contract agreement with Dorchester Town.

Flack had no shortage of suitors after leaving Tiverton Town and Mick Jenkins was delighted to seal the services of the 35-year-old target man.

"I got in there early," the manager said. "I knew about his availability and was obviously aware that there would be other clubs looking to sign him. Fair play to Steve, we shook on it last week and he is a man true of his word.

"I think he will be a great asset for us."

Jenkins is continually striving to add to his squad, with a defender the next priority.

Neil Davis is yet to train with the squad, but Jenkins will assess the fitness of the former Havant & Waterlooville player when the midfielder returns from a business trip.

Scott Henley, the former Weymouth and current Portland United defender, trained with the Magpies' squad this week and is eligible for the Conference South fixture at home to Braintree Town on Saturday.
