A FAMILY fun day will take place this weekend with information and advice about services for people with disabilities.
The free event on Saturday at Pennington Flash Country Park will feature entertainment and refreshments as well as stalls providing information about social and leisure opportunities, support groups and care provision, and specialist equipment.
Wigan and Leigh Disability Partnership will be working with APEX Health and Social Care and 50 organisations will be offering help and advice.
Headway Wigan and Leigh, a charity setting up to support the survivors of brain injury and their families, will also be at the event, which takes place from 11am to 4pm.
Admission is free.
