A CYCLIST suffered spinal injuries after a collision with a car near a primary school in Muscliff this morning.
A silver Renault Scenic registered to a man from Bournemouth and a bike ridden by a man in his 50s, were involved in the incident outside Epiphany C of E Primary School in Shillingstone Drive.
The incident was reported to police by ambulance staff at around 7am, and the cyclist was taken to Poole General Hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Last month the council said a recently installed mini roundabout designed to calm traffic around the school would not be removed, despite complaints from residents that it was dangerous.
