KILLER Danilo Restivo has lost his appeal with the Italian courts.
The 40-year-old, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of Bournemouth mum Heather Barnett, was convicted in his absence in 2011 of killing 16-year-old schoolgirl Elisa Claps in Potenza, Italy, 20 years ago.

He was handed a 30-year prison term by the Italian courts and contested both this and the conviction.
Restivo was temporarily released to the Italian authorities by HM Prison Service for the duration of the court hearing in Salerno.
He is expected to be returned to the UK to continue serving his life prison sentence.
