A primary school has been rated as good by Ofsted inspectors.
St Katharine’s in Rolls Drive was upgraded from satisfactory after government inspectors spent two days at the school in February.
They said: “Across the school, pupils’ progress is good or outstanding in all classes. Teaching is good and the majority is of high quality. The headteacher provides ambitious leadership and she is supported well by other leaders in the school.”
The school, which accommodates 436 pupils aged between four and 11, was also praised for the outstanding behaviour and safety of pupils.
Inspectors from Ofsted said teaching was not yet consistently outstanding.
