Gareth Baker, a PE teacher at the school for eight years, said: “I love the children I work with. It’s a school which is well equipped for PE and we have the field as well, which is wonderful.”
Lucinda Murphy, a Reception class teacher at the school for two years, said: “It is so child-centred at the school. Everyone is really caring and we do what we can to help one another.”
Debbie Cates, a parent to three children in Reception, Year 2, and Year 4, said: “All my children enjoy it and feel safe and well. The staff and the teachers know them and they get to mix with children from all years.”
Lisa Cheeseman, a parent to two children – in Year 1 and Year 4 – said: “It is a rights respecting school. The children learn to understand the right to belong, be safe, be cared for and live together.”
Robbie, 11, a pupil in Year Six, said: “It’s really fun and we do lots of music and PE at the school, which are my favourite lessons.”
Tilly, 11, who is also in Year Six, said: “Everyone is friends at the school and I enjoy being Head Girl and learning to play the flute. My favourite lessons are maths and PE.”
