Can you help track down thieves who stole Land Rover from driveway?

POLICE are appealing for help to track down thieves who stole a distinctive Land Rover from a New Forest home.

The white Defender was taken from a driveway in Station Road, Sway, between 9.20pm on Wednesday March 6 and 7.50am on Thursday March 7.

The owner, a 29-year-old man, still had the keys to the vehicle when it was taken.

The Land Rover was found burned out at noon on March 7 near Downton in Wiltshire.

PC David Barnes of Hampshire Police said: “This is quite a distinctive vehicle with a tipper back.

“We need to hear from anyone who saw it being driven between Sway and Downton from the time it was stolen to the time it was found.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Barnes at Lymington on 101.
