PLACES are filling fast for the British Heart Foundation’s Bournemouth Bay Run on Sunday April 7.
This year’s event will cater for all types of runners with a half marathon, 10k road race, 5k fun run and a 1k children’s fun run.
Daily Echo deputy editor Andy Martin and reporter Paula Roberts will be among 3,000 runners taking part.
They are being trained for the event by personal trainers Kevin Hubble and Karen Morison, who are based at Bournemouth’s Fitness First.
Entry fee for the events range from £2 for the children’s fun run to £16 for the half marathon.

The bay run is organised by Bournemouth Tourism and sponsored by Fitness First.
