THE lead singer of an indie band was the victim of an assault in Bournemouth, it is claimed.
The Enemy front man Tom Clarke took to Twitter to report that he was hit in the head by a full pint glass while performing at The Old Fire Station on Sunday.
In a tweet to more than 20,000 followers, Clarke said: “That was a long weekend, taking a full pint glass to the head last night in Bournemouth was interesting too!”
The show, which took place at the venue in Holdenhurst Road, was rescheduled from February 24.
A police spokesperson confirmed officers had received a report of an assault at The Old Fire Station, which is currently being investigated.
The band was formed in Coventry in 2006, and has released three albums.
Clarke performs lead vocals, lead guitar and piano for the band, as well as playing strings.

More concerned about the beer than the possibility of causing injury.

Whilst I don't condone violence,Tom does come across as rather pretentious
& gobby so possibly rather annoying!
Still don't think he deseved having a 'full pint' thrown over him...Waste of a drink.
