PAUL Gascoigne is coming back to Bournemouth after spending a month in rehab in the United States.
The football star’s high profile departure from the town hit the news when he fell ill a month ago and celebrity friends including Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans were among those reported as helping to fund treatment.
The 45-year-old has been battling his drink problems at a clinic in Arizona and it has been confirmed to the Echo that he will come back to the town when he returns next week.
Gascoigne originally came to Bournemouth and received help from the Providence Projects rehab centre. They continued to help support him during arrangements for the trip to the US.
