Kitchen fire in Broadstone

A kitchen was left damaged by fire in Broadstone after a pan of oil overheated and caught alight, firefighters said.

A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said 10 firefighters were sent to the flat in Primrose Gardens at lunchtime on Thursday to extinguish the flames and the rest of the property was also left smoke damaged.
