Kelly said she knew Stuart could afford vet's bills. The family has had lots of dogs and they get buried at her nan's farm off Huntick Road so nothing too unusual in his request

4:39pm

Stuart said to Kelly in conversation: "please, I really need you to help me" before she agreed to get him and Benjamin and the suitcase.

4:36pm

Kelly said about Stuart: "on Thursday when I took him, he seemed a bit like... He's actually quite an animal lover, he did an animal care course at college. But yesterday he was his normal self"

4:34pm

Stuart said the dead dog was called jess, and it had been given to him after a friend's grandparent died. Kelly knew about a dog he had called Jet but apparently he only had Jess for a few days before she was hit by a car

4:27pm

She dropped them off in Huntick Road. She couldn't take them back but she knew her nan would give them a lift. In the end her dad picked them up

4:18pm

Kelly said Stuart opened the boot before he went to get the suitcase. He lifted it in himself

4:15pm

He brought a navy or black suitcase to the car and lifted it into the car. It seemed quite heavy because it moved the car when it went in

4:14pm

A few days previously Stuart had asked her to drive over and help him get his dog's body to their grandmothers in Lytchett to bury it. He said the dog had been hit by a car and he couldn't spend another night with the body, Kelly said

4:07pm

Kelly Wareham's video evidence now. On June 11 Stuart and Lee's sister Kelly went to police to say she couldn't get hold of Stuart and the family were worried.

4:06pm

Def asks about Stuart's sister, who was there at the time of the conversation about Mr Reed. She apparently spent the time texting and on Facebook. Def is disbelieving about this

3:52pm

Some confusion here about where Lee was and what contribution he had to discussion about killing Mr Reed

3:37pm

Lee's defence now questioning Adam. He suggests that Lee did not take part in any conversation about killing Mr Reed

3:30pm

Def says: "you're someone who is perfectly capable of easily making up a story"

3:27pm

Defence claiming that Adam and Stuart told police Mr Reed had been "touching him [Adam] up" as a wind-up.

Adam said this is untrue

3:07pm

Def says it was all a joke, and the conversation about killing Geoffrey did not happen at his flat when he was in hospital. It happened on the way to the library when Adam was with Benjamin and Stuart

3:06pm

Def said: "we suggest that you and Stuart and Benjamin were walking to the library and stuart made comment about wanting Geoffrey dead. You I suggest said that you wanted to kill Geoffrey as well"

2:58pm

Def- "you though 'a-ha, another opportunity to say some untruths to the police' didn't you?"

Adam said no

2:55pm

Defence now questioning Adam. Saying "you're jealous of the success your brother has with girls" - suggesting Adams' dislike of his brother has led to him making statements to the police previously

2:42pm

Previously he had not taken thr conversation seriously. "It was some kind of sick joke" Adam said

2:41pm

Adam went to police on June 14 because he saw the story on the news. He went in Facebook and realised his brother had been charged with murder

2:30pm

Adam says in the video interview that he felt sick at level of detail planned and his stomach was churning

2:22pm

Benjamin and Stuart wanted to cut Mr Reed up in the bath and bleach it so the blood would drain away, Adam tells police in his video interview. They had a saw and an axe, he said

1:13pm

Breaking for lunch- court resumes at 2.15

12:58pm

He said they were going to hit him with a rabbit ornament and cut him up with an axe. They already had a driver who was going to help

12:56pm

Adam said that Stuart and Benjamin were planning Mr Reed's murder while he was in hospital. They were picking weapons, and said they were going to hit him on the head. Adam becomes overwhelmed and begins writing on a piece of paper rather than talking to the officer

12:51pm

Benjamin didnt like Mr Reed but Stuart said they could have a laugh together, Adam said

12:46pm

Adam describes Stuart and Benjamin as "best mates"

12:41pm

Later, Stuart and Benjamin visited Adam separately. Adam said of Stuart "he was shaking. He couldn't believe he was going to do it". Benjamin became aggressive when Adam told him he couldn't be involved

12:37pm

He says "it was already planned. They tried getting me involved with it. At first I thought they were joking because they were laughing"

12:36pm

Video interview of Adam Walter, Benjamin's brother, now being played. He said he went to play darts with his brother and Stuart and they told him they wanted to kill Mr Reed

12:19pm

Daniel checked the cupboard for the suitcase after listening in in the defendants' conversation in the lounge. That's when they realised the suitcase was gone and they became very concerned and frightened, Tiffany said

12:14pm

When Stuart and Benjamin returned, there was mud all over their shoes. They said they'd spent the day at Stuart's nan's house in Lytchett and she had given them some money, which Benjamin spent on tobacco and some beers
