Part of Southcote Road closed while collapsed sewer is repaired

A section of Southcote Road will be closed for around two weeks while Wessex Water carries out emergency repairs to a collapsed sewer.

Repairs will take place between St Swithin’s Road and Derby Road and a full road closure is required until March 11 due to the location of the sewer.

A diversion route will be in place for motorists.

Shame Echo can not get their FACTS right, Derby Road does not connect with Southcote Road by Kniveton Gardens.

Hope they are quicker than they are in Beechwood Road, it's been closed for over 12 months!
