A FERRARI worth around £25,000 went up in flames in the New Forest yesterday.

The lovingly restored classic car caught fire near the Cat and the Fiddle pub in Lyndhurst Road, Bransgore at around 4pm.

The back of the motor was completely destroyed in the blaze, although the front of the car didn’t suffer much damage.

However, the owner escaped without injury.

He later told a passer-by that he had been driving along when the back of the car suddenly burst into flames. A fire crew from New Milton attended the scene to put out the blaze.

Lucky to get out alive. These foreign cars aren't as safe as staid British vehicles.
Buy British!

If you want a British car and are prepared to wiat a while you could always buy a Morgan, founded 103 years ago and still going strong. Of course you may have to wait a year or two as it will be made for you personally. Perhaps an Aston Martin would suit you better.
