Three injured during robbery in Ringwood

POLICE are hunting robbers who attacked three people following a night out in Ringwood.
The incident happened at 12.30am on Saturday February 16 as the woman and two young men walked along Hightown Road.
A 21-year-old Ringwood man was punched in the face and knocked to the ground. A 19-year-old Verwood woman was slightly injured when she was spun around by the strap of her handbag and fell to the ground, and an 18-year-old Ringwood man was also injured.
The robbers took two mobile phones, a handbag and purse and an iPod touch before leaving the scene in separate directions.
One headed towards the area of Christchurch Road and Mansfield Road. The other ran towards Hightown Gardens.
They are described as white, aged between 20 and 30, of average build and between 5ft 8ins and 6ft 1ins. Both wore dark hooded tops with the hoods up.
