Schoolboy attacked in robbery

A SCHOOLBOY suffered a bloody nose and black eye after he was punched repeatedly in the face by would-be robber.

The attack happened near Winton Recreation Ground on February 22.

The 13-year-old, from Bournemouth, was approached by the man at around 8.50pm and told to hand over his mobile phone. The man then hit him several times before making off empty handed.

The offender was described as white, aged around 20, about 5ft 9ins tall with light brown skin, wearing a dark body warmer with a grey hood.

Contact police with information on 101 quoting incident number 22:458.

now i could be wrong and there might be more to this story, but what the hell was a 13 year old doing out at 9pm at night. Was he on his own? yes we would all like to walk the streets and we should all be able to safely, but come on people we all know what a sick world we live in!
