Three car crash holds up holiday traffic on A31 at Ringwood

A three-car crash on a busy dual carriageway led to the closure of one lane.

Half-term holiday traffic was slow-moving following the accident on the west-bound carriageway of the A31 near Ringwood at 1.09 pm today (Mon).

Emergency services were scrambled following the collision near the turn-off for Ringwood and Salisbury.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said one casualty had suffered a minor injury. The lane was re-opened at around 1.50 pm.

The accident was at the Fish Inn / Texaco slip roads again!! Its about time the Highway Agency redesigned the road here. Wasn't their a council plan to close the slip road by the Fish Inn a few years ago?
