Crash causes Poole road closure

HERBERT Avenue in Poole has been closed both ways following a crash involving a motorcycle and car tonight (Mon).
Emergency services were scrambled at 6.28 pm after the collision between a silver Renault Megane and a white Suzuki bike.
The crash happened between the Tesco Express store and the double roundabout. The local authority was called to deal with glass on the road.
A Dorset Police spokesman said slight injuries had been caused.

I live in Herbert Ave and constantly hear traffic driving fast/speeding(outsid e of the rush hour of course!)Over the last few years the traffic has got worse and even one of our speed camera got knocked down! The state of the road also concerns me as I once counted 40 pot holes! It would also help if drivers remember to put their car headlights on in poor visibility (ie fog,snow,rain or when it is dark!).and stop texting or eating/drinking whilst driving!

Have you seen the state of that stretch of road with some dangerous potholes? It wouldn't surprise me if it was a factor in this accident.
