A woman was indecently assaulted in Poole in broad daylight.

Officers in Poole are appealing for witnesses after a 26-year-old from Christchurch was assaulted on Commercial Road at 8.30am on Monday. 

Police Constable Debbie Day, of Poole police, said: “Due to the time of day there would have been a high volume of traffic and I am hoping that somebody witnessed the incident.

 

“I would urge anyone who witnessed this assault, or has any information about the man responsible, to contact Dorset Police.”

The offender is described as white, aged in his mid twenties, approximately five feet eight inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a cream puffy jacket and blue jeans.

The incident happened along Commercial Road, near to the Civic Centre by the crossing leading to North Road, at around 8.30am on Monday 4 February 2013.

A student was sexually assaulted at the weekend in Bournemouth and a woman was sexually assaulted in a car in Charminster last week.
