Do you recognise Holdenhurst Road sex attacker?
THIS is the face of the man wanted by police over a frightening late-night sexual assault in Bournemouth.
The victim, a 20-year-old Bournemouth University student who lives in Winton, was unexpectedly grabbed from behind by an unknown man and attacked in the subway between Holdenhurst Road and the travel interchange at around 1.30am on Friday.
CCTv was released at the weekend, but has been criticsed for being too indistinct.
Now police have released an e-fit of the suspect and a description
The suspect has been described as white, of large build, between 27 and 35 years old, between five feet seven inches and five feet 11 inches tall.
He has dark hair and stubble, big eyes, a crooked nose, pock-marked skin and had a dirty appearance. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a top with a logo on the chest.
Students are being warned not to get too drunk and not to walk home alone after the incident.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 01:20. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.

Whilst this isn't a laughing matter that might considered funny.

Does anyone ever check the likeness/accuracy of these images when the 'real' person is finally caught?

Disgusting comments. What sort of people make comments like that? Just disgusting. This poor woman is going to be scarred for the rst of her life by what's happened; this is not the place for lighthearted banter.
Truly offensive to the victim and readers alike.

Hear, hear, Hampshire Holly.

But the point is this. As a society we have never been as snooped upon, surveilled, monitored and watched. It has spawned a whole new industry around surveillance and enforcement.
Now, in return for the intrusions and incursions into our lives, surely we can expect the images produced on CCTV to be of decipherable quality.
