Teenage girl left upset after flasher ordeal in Poole
3:37pm Thursday 31st January 2013 in News
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself to a young girl in Poole.
The incident happened at around 4.15pm on Wednesday 30 January 2013 in the subway between Belben Road and Bedford Road South in the Rossmore area.
The 15-year-old girl was approached by an unknown man who subsequently indecently exposed himself to her.
She ran off and was followed by the offender for a short distance before getting away.
Police Constable David Rae from Poole Police said: “This has been quite an ordeal for a teenage girl and she has been left very scared and upset.
“I would ask witnesses and anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they might be able to assist with the investigation.
“The offender is described as a white man aged in his early thirties, around six feet tall, of thin build and with short light coloured stubble.
“He was wearing a chequered style farmer’s cap, a light blue jacket and dark jeans.
“Witnesses should call Dorset Police on 101 in strict confidence.”
No arrests have been made.
