Man found dead at Castlepoint is named Man found dead at Castlepoint is named

A 50-year-old man whose body was found in the car park at Castlepoint shopping centre last Thursday has been named.

Former soldier Stephen Russell from Holbury Close, Bournemouth, was discovered in the lower level car park at around 8am. The cause of his death is unascertained and the Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset Coroner is awaiting the results of toxicology tests.

The brief hearing at Bournemouth was adjourned until a date to be fixed. A Dorset police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
